Rams Open in Redmond

Riverside opened their Seattle road trip Friday night under the lights at Hartman Park in Redmond vs host FM Sports.   A shaky 2nd frame put the Rams down 5-0 but Riverside battled scoring a pair in the 5th. Silas Ng, who had two hits on the evening, scored a run on Brett Overby’s single and Joe Ueno  followed up with a drive to left plating Hunter Kraches to bring the game within striking distance at 6-2.  However, Riverside could must no more offense despite Overby’s impressive  innings of relief where he struck out 7 and allowed just two hits to keep the Rams in the fight.

The Rams chance to rebound is Saturday as they face the Eastside Huskies in Bellevue.
