Riverside Finishes with 4-0 Loss

The Rams played FM Sports on Sunday at Woodinville HS and despite a few opportunities,  were unable to score falling 4-0.  A couple defensive miscues led to 3 unearned runs that Riverside could not overcome.  Opportunities were there for the Rams though as offensively they left 7 runners in scoring position but stringing hits together was as problem.  Jack Ewart and Jimmie Lucas each had doubles for the Rams and Riley Distad was 2 for 2 on the day.  Jordan Nortz made the defensive play of the weekend with outstanding sliding catch in the centerfield.

Riverside finishes the baseball packed road trip to the Seattle area with alot of innings, a couple clinics and even a Mariner game to see how the big boys do it.  They returned home now and will suit up again at Riverside HS on Tuesday when they host Colville A Legion. Game time is 5 PM.
